How It All Began – A Story from the Sea

When you are born on an island, in one of the most beautiful places in the world, something deep inside you always sparks an unusual desire – the desire to escape paradise. And from an island, there is only one way to escape: by boat.
Perhaps that is why my story with the sea began so early. At just nineteen, I decided to start a maritime company and tie my life to the sea, to boats, and to the people who travel. Today, more than thirty years later, I am still here – between Pelješac and Korčula. It seems that escaping this paradise isn’t so easy after all.
Now, a new generation is stepping up. My sons are increasingly taking the helm, and I hope that soon I will have more time to wander the world… at least as far as Dubrovnik.
Through decades of work, we have learned much – sometimes the easy way, sometimes the hard way. Every experience, every challenge, and every mistake has helped us become better and more reliable at what we do. Today, we turn that experience into a safe, professional, and organized maritime service in the Pelješac-Korčula channel.
